| “Shared Spaces” is series of experimental portraits based on the intense personal relationships between various couples. These images are a selection from that series. The portraits are a visualization of the emotional relationship between couples, an illustration of the loving "space"
that is created by a long-term relationship. While these are portraits of the couples, each as whole beings, they are locked together by an embrace that is only shared between lovers (and family members) over the course of their journey through life together. This is the whole portrait. In these "Shared Spaces", their strengths and weaknesses are folded together, merged and combined into a whole, like a puzzle that pulses with life energy. The circuit of this energy closed by the tight embrace.
